She is blessed with a great complexion, a petite frame and dollops of good looks. Meet designer Gauri Bajoria, a London College of Fashion graduate, who took much coaxing to agree to model for this bridal makeover.

Prabir uses a Mac skin tone base on her face and neck after he has used a Shiseido face illuminating lotion to do away with the caked make-up look and replace it with a more freah-faced natural looking skin. He dabs some L'Oreal translucent loose powder over the base to set in. For her eyes, he applies a combination of Mac black and brown eye kohl pencil over her upper and lower eyelids to contour her eyes. Next, he applies an orange eye shadow and applies on her upper eyelids in strokes moving from corner to middle and towards the outer edge of her eyebrows. He also uses some gold eye shadow on rest of her upper eyelid, and blends the two colours into a smooth new shade. For extra glam and to keep to the international taste, he adds some MAC gold glitter on the upper eyelids to complete her eyes. A YSL black mascara is used on her long lashes to accentuate the entire fruity eye make-up. To keep symmetry, Prabir uses a MAC orange blush-on to highlight her high cheek bones and a punch of several shades of lipsticks from Bobby Brown to come up with this fruity lip colour. For effect he also adds some shimmer gloss from L'Oreal.

Prabir goes in for a very hip and conventional hairstyle for Gauri. He uses a hair iron to straighten out her hair and ties it into a neat but loose bun at the back leaving some strands of her hair in front to hang loose. He innovatively uses the streaks in Gauri's hair to form layers at different levels near her broad forehead and beautifies these layers with some stone embellished hair accessories. Last, he uses some Revlon body shimmer on her entire body. Gauri's own creation- a bright orange sari with innovative frayed thread, beads and bold sequins work completes accentuates the whole look.
